A five year Halloween tradition continues on BigValleyRadio.com with the return of Dracula! The original Mercury Radio Theatre’s Orson Wells adaptation stars the talented voices of Alpine Theatre Project’s Luke Walrath, Betsi Morrison, Rebecca Spear, Nick Spear, and David Ackroyd as Dracula. This hour long drama was produced right here at the Big Valley Radio studios in Whitefish, Montana. Dracula will air on our live stream for four nights only following our opening presentation of “The Witch’s Tale, The Haunted Crossroads” by the Whitefish High School Drama Department; October 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st at 8:00 pm MST nightly and will also be available on-demand.

Whitefish High School Drama Department lend their voices to a bone chilling radio drama from 1936, “The Witch’s Tale, The Haunted Crossroads.” This is one of the earliest horror shows to hit the air waves; eerie, weird, blood chilling tales, told by Old Nancy, the Witch of Salem and her wise black cat, Satan. Stories of superstition and the supernatural along with murder and ancient curses, The Haunted Crossroads takes place on a barren stretch of land where two roads meet in Old Massachusetts. An invisible woman has stabbed a policeman in the back at an isolated crossroads. This opening presentation to our featured show Dracula will air on our live stream for four nights only; October 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st at 8:00 pm MST nightly and will also be available on-demand.
