Save Big Mountain Jesus

A national atheist organization out of Wisconsin, Freedom From Religion Foundation, has successfully persuaded the U.S. Forest Service to deny the special use permit which has allowed a statue of Jesus Christ to occupy a 25’x25’ piece of land on Big Mountain since 1953. Zachary Pitts tells why he started a campaign to save the statue.

Whitefish Band Students Representing Montana In Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Two members of the Whitefish High School Varsity Band have been selected to represent the state of Montana in this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. Thomas Henson, a sophomore percussionist, and Sarah Bonnington, a freshman saxophonist, will be spending their Thanksgiving holiday in the Big Apple this year.
